Always friendly and welcoming- car parking is free and also stress free- no hidden charges -and on frosty mornings the bucket of water and window squeegee are a thoughtful touch. Rooms are spacious and clean and well maintained and despite being close to the road are quiet. I often travel alone for work and always feel safe and welcome in an unobtrusive way - reception staff are great and consistently helpful. Fabulous location right near the Botanical Gardens. The staff are outstanding, they are a team who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The breakfast and dinner service is really good in catering for individual needs and when I needed advice on how best to get around they knew about the buses and best tours.

Reception staff were amazing and very friendly. They were super helpful with luggage storage before check in and after check out, and sorting a later check out time. The hotel is right next to the botanic gardens which was nice, however it is a bit further out from town, but still walkable. Room was very spacious and clean.

This accommodation was a slice of heaven for us as we had driven from Invercargill. The room was good and clean. Having a restaurant in house was also wonderful as we didn’t need to go out for dinner. The location was across the road from the Dunedin Botanical Gardens which is worth a visit.

Loved the property, but Otago Peninsula was the best, Northern Royal Albatross tour, sweet. Love the towns architecture and murals, gardens. Charlotte was fun to talk to, Baldwin St, Signal Hill suggestions. Great gal, fun staff, awesome breakfast & dinner!!
